The SYMBIOS HANDSET can be used as a dive computer for Air, NITROX, TRIMIX, and closed-circuit rebreather (CCR) dives. It integrates an innovative wireless interface (Purchasable separately) that allows data reception from multiple sources, including up to 7 tank pressure transmitters, rebreather wireless interfaces, navigation systems, and devices such as a diver propulsion vehicle (DPV).

Certified Safety
The SYMBIOS HANDSET, when paired with a compatible SYMBIOS Tank Pod, is classified as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) under EU Regulation 2016/425. This device provides protection against risks listed under Category III (a), including hazardous substances and mixtures.
According to Annex I of EU Regulation 2016/425, the SYMBIOS HANDSET protects the user against the risk of drowning (Category III (i)) by displaying tank pressure information that enables the user to take necessary actions to prevent it.
