The SYMBIOS HANDSET can function as a dive computer for Air, NITROX, TRIMIX, and closed circuit rebreathers (CCR). It integrates an innovative wireless interface (available separately) that receives data from multiple sources, including up to 7 tank pressure transmitters, rebreather wireless interfaces, navigation systems, and devices like a diver propulsion vehicle (DPV).
Dive Modes
The Halcyon SYMBIOS HUD offers various modes to suit all diving needs:
- OC (Open Circuit): Suitable for dives with air, Nitrox, and Trimix.
- CCR (Closed Circuit Rebreather): Includes pO2 sensor readings.
- CCR FIX SP: Fixed setpoint pO2 mode.
- Bottom Timer: Mode without decompression calculation.
- Sidemount: Perfect for dives with dual tank configurations.
Select the desired mode from the settings menu: SYMBIOS Handset > Settings > Dive Mode.
