Description

EUROFIX neoprene adhesive – when you need a flexible bond that lasts

EUROFIX is a professional-grade neoprene adhesive designed to work on materials that bend, flex and are constantly under stress over time.

This is not an all-purpose glue. It is specifically formulated for neoprene, rubber and coated fabrics, which is why it is widely used in diving repair workshops and marine environments.

Once fully cured, the bond remains flexible. This is essential when working on wetsuits and diving gear, where rigid adhesives tend to crack or fail after repeated use.

At a glance

  • What it is: a two-component neoprene adhesive
  • Main purpose: neoprene repairs for diving and marine use
  • Works best on: elastic materials
  • Not suitable for: dry systems, latex, silicone
  • Professional-grade neoprene adhesive
  • Strong initial tack without becoming brittle
  • Durable bond under bending and mechanical stress
  • Suitable for neoprene and Hypalon repairs
  • Easy contact-bond application
  • Commonly used in diving and marine environments

How to use

As with all professional neoprene adhesives, final performance depends heavily on surface preparation and correct timing.

  1. Clean the surfaces thoroughly and lightly sand them
  2. Degrease and allow to dry completely
  3. Prepare the adhesive with the activator according to instructions
  4. Apply an even coat to both surfaces
  5. Allow solvents to flash off
  6. Press the parts together firmly
  7. Leave to cure for at least 24–48 hours before use

Always work in a well-ventilated area.

Available sizes

  • 350 g – ideal for small repairs or occasional use
  • 900 g – suitable for workshops and service centres
  • 4.5 kg – for intensive professional use
  • 16 kg – for intensive professional use

Frequently asked questions

Can I use it on a drysuit?
No. This adhesive is designed for neoprene and elastic materials, not for drysuits or trilaminate fabrics.

Is it suitable for bonding a zipper?
Only on neoprene wetsuits. In these cases, stitching reinforcement is strongly recommended.

Does it resist salt water?
Yes, it is suitable for use in marine environments.

Is the activator really necessary?
Yes. To achieve proper bonding strength and long-term durability, the RFE / RE activator must be used.
