Attaching a carabiner or accessory to a dive hose can cause damage.
Too much pressure is often exerted on the surface of the pipe, damaging the outer and/or inner layers by reducing the strength of the pipe.
Damage to the inner layer can cause material cracking and potential reduction in gas flow.
The XS Scuba Hose Hook is a secure carabiner attachment system that does not cause potential damage to the hose.
Designed for use with all low pressure dive hoses with a diameter of approximately 0.5" (1.27cm), the 3.3" (8.4cm) hose hook is made of stainless steel corrosion resistant and has a 360 degree swivel arm with threaded locking pin for attaching to hose.
The opposite end of the carabiner has a spring clip opening to secure the hook to your gear.
Also included is a (L x Dia.) 2 x 0.48" (5.1 x 1.23 cm) silicone grip sleeve that fits over the regulator hose to prevent carabiner slippage.
