An air-spool sits inside the high pressure hose at the SPG / computer swivel neck. 

It is the heart of the swivel mechanism. Yet it is often neglected in gear rinsing and maintenance which allows salt crystal and dirt build-up around the o-rings overtime, making them dried and deformed. And when the o-rings are dried, turning the SPG can break it. That is disaster waiting to happen. This simple yet important part can make or break a diving vacation.
