The SYMBIOS HANDSET can function as a dive computer for Air, NITROX, TRIMIX, and closed circuit rebreathers (CCR).

It integrates an advanced wireless interface (available separately), capable of receiving data from multiple sources, including up to 7 tank pressure transmitters, CCR systems, navigation tools, and devices such as diver propulsion vehicles (DPV).

Mounting and mask integration

The Halcyon SYMBIOS HUD is designed to be mounted directly onto a diving mask using an adjustable bracket with dual ball joints, allowing precise positioning based on the diver’s field of view.

For optimal stability, alignment and comfort, it is recommended to use the dedicated Halcyon HUD clamp for Omnis mask, specifically designed to ensure secure mounting and seamless integration underwater.

This setup keeps the display consistently positioned, improving readability and overall dive awareness.

Dive Modes

The Halcyon SYMBIOS HUD offers multiple modes to match different diving needs:

• OC (Open Circuit): Air, Nitrox, and Trimix
• CCR (Closed Circuit Rebreather): With pO2 sensor monitoring
• CCR FIX SP: Fixed setpoint mode
• Bottom Timer: No decompression calculation
• Sidemount: Ideal for dual tank configurations

Select the desired mode via: SYMBIOS Handset > Settings > Dive Mode
