I subacquei prendono come riferimento i divemaster perché sono i leader che consigliano e motivano gli altri. Come divemaster, non solo fai tante immersioni ma, durante le immersioni, sperimenti anche la gioia di vedere gli altri divertirsi tanto quanto te.

Il corso PADI Divemaster è il tuo primo livello di addestramento professionale. Lavorando a stretto contatto con un PADI Instructor, affinerai le tue abilità subacquee – ad esempio fare hovering senza sforzo - e quelle di soccorso, in modo da saper anticipare e risolvere facilmente i problemi più comuni. Acquisirai conoscenze teoriche sull’immersione e abilità di gestione e supervisione, così da diventare un modello di ruolo per qualsiasi subacqueo.

Come PADI Divemaster, poiché supervisionerai attività di immersione e agirai come assistente nei corsi, assumerai il ruolo di guida. Che tu voglia lavorare in una destinazione subacquea lontana o in un centro sub locale, vicino a casa, ti aspetta l’avventura di una vita. I PADI Divemaster sono rispettati professionisti che fanno parte della più grande e rispettata organizzazione subacquea al mondo – la PADI.

Il corso PADI Divemaster ti insegna a essere un leader e ad assumerti la responsabilità delle attività subacquee. Attraverso sessioni di sviluppo teorico, esercizi in acqua, workshop e valutazioni pratiche, svilupperai le abilità per organizzare e dirigere una varietà di attività subacquee. Argomenti e workshop includono:

- Il ruolo e le carattersitiche di un PADI Divemaster
- Spuervisionare le attività subacquee e assistere gli studenti stubacquei
- La sicurezza del subacqueo e gestione del rischio
- I programmi condotti da un Divemaster e abilità specialistiche
- Il business della subacquea e la tua carriera
- Consapevolezza dell’ambiente acquatico
- Preparazione e gestione di un’immersione
- Mappatura di un sito d’acqua libera
- Condurre briefing d’immersione
- Organizzare un progetto di ricerca e recupero e un’immersione profonda
- Condurre uno scuba review e un corso skin diver
- Assistere i Discover Scuba Diving e guidare i programmi Discover Local Diving

Durata del Corso:
Minimo 50 ore.

Prerequisiti per corso sub PADI Divemaster:

- I partecipanti devono almeno avere 18 anni
- Certificato medico di idoneità all'attività subacquea agonistica
- Discreta Acquaticità da valutarsi durante il corso
- Almeno 60 immersioni registrate
- Possedere la certificazione PADI Rescue Diver (o possedere una certificazione equivalente emessa da altra organizzazione di addestramento).
- Possedere una valida certificazione di addestramento al primo soccorso ed alla RCP, emessa entro i due anni precedenti  (corsi Emergency First Response o Equivalenti)

Programma del corso:
Una parte teorica che trattano di fisica, fisiologia, abilità ed ambiente, attrezzatura e teoria dell’immersione che verrà introdotta attraverso lo studio autonomo, la visione del DvD e presentazioni dell’istruttore. Una parte pratica tenuta sia in piscina che in acque libere: per ciò che riguarda la parte di acque confinate, il candidato Divemaster dovrà dimostrare lo Skills Circuit PADI, eseguire due prove di nuoto (a corpo libero e con pinne maschera e snorkel) e di resistenza, il trasporto del subacqueo stanco e lo scambio dell’attrezzatura da un’unica fonte d’aria. In acqua libera, oltre alla prova Rescue, il candidato Divemaster parteciperà ad almeno 10 attività di immersione e dovrà predisporre una mappa dell’immersione e il piano per la gestione di un’ emergenza.
Inoltre, il candidato Divemaster dovrà assistere ad alcune parti dei corsi PADI condotti da un Istruttore, sia in acqua confinata che in acqua libera.

Materiali didattici:

Manuale Divemaster, CD-ROM, Enciclopedia, Diving Knowledge Workbook, Pianificatore d’immersione versione tabella ed eRDPml e Kit PADI inclusi nel costo del corso. 

Attrezzatura richiesta: Maschera, snorkel, calzari, pinne, sistema di zavorra, muta, computer subacqueo, Gav, erogatori, inclusi nel costo del corso e forniti per tutta la durata del corso compatibilmente alle disponibilità del parco attrezzature della scuola.
E' consigliato l'uso di attrezzatura propria.

Costo del corso: 
800 Euro, comprensivi di materiali didattici, attrezzature, spese di certificazione PADI, uscite in acque libere al lago. 
Sono esclusi i materiali didattici obbligatori, gli ingressi in piscina e le spese di elaborazione delle applications e le tasse d’esame PADI, trasferimenti, uscite in barca/gommone ed eventuali pernottamenti per le uscite mare.
