Suex SEIKA GNSS Surface Marker Buoy

SUEX SEIKA is an advanced GNSS-based navigation system designed to revolutionize underwater positioning and diver navigation when used with SUEX DPVs.

SEIKA works in combination with SUEX DRIVe systems, the ERON D-1, SINAPSI, and CALYPSO.

Accuracy, reliability, and precise sub-surface positioning are critical for any dive mission. SEIKA integrates a GNSS receiver inside a surface marker buoy (SMB), allowing the system to capture the diver’s exact surface position and transmit it underwater.

The GNSS receiver supports global satellite positioning systems including GPS, GLONASS, and GALILEO.

How it works

The diver deploys the GNSS-SMB from depth. Once the buoy reaches the surface, it acquires satellite positioning data and transmits it to the ERON D-1 dashboard, updating the diver’s position in real time and allowing accurate navigation toward the next waypoint.

SEIKA can be deployed multiple times during a dive and also functions as a standard SMB with a maximum cable length of 12 meters.
